You love inspiring children for football? You want to create an environment during school holidays where young players can try things out, develop themselves, and move with joy? You enjoy working with children aged 6 to 13 and bring energy, patience, and structure to the pitch? Then become part of our holiday school team at Hertha BSC.
In our holiday camps you train children who do not play in the elite program of Hertha BSC – with the goal of conveying the joy of football, strengthening community, and creating positive experiences.
Your Responsibilities
You lead training sessions for children aged 6 to 13 – age-appropriate, motivating, and structured,
You teach technical and coordination fundamentals with enthusiasm and pedagogical sensitivity,
You ensure a safe and respectful training atmosphere and promote team spirit and fair play,
You supervise the children throughout the training day and serve as a reliable contact person for parents and the organization team,
You support the organizational implementation of the holiday camps and actively contribute to the coaching team.
What You Bring
You have experience training children or youth – in a club, school, or comparable contexts – and already possess a coaching license,
Ideally, you are a student in sports science, teacher education, or a comparable field,
You work responsibly, reliably, and with a high level of empathy,
You communicate content clearly, motivatingly, and patiently – and enjoy supporting development,
You present yourself openly and respectfully and create a positive atmosphere on and off the pitch,
You identify with our values – community, diversity, courage, humility, ambition, and responsibility – and want to actively live them.
